Storage is £30 per week (inc VAT) per sealed 250 cubic foot container, insurance included, at our secure Rainham (RM13) facility. The 1st week of storage is FREE with any removal, the minimum term is one week, and access is by arrangement with 7 days notice. Removals and storage in London normally means two companies. One crew moves you, a storage chain stores your things, and you juggle two quotes, two contracts, and two insurance documents. We do it differently. London House Removals runs its own crews and its own container storage facility, so your move and your storage become one booking and one quote.
Book your removal with us and the 1st week of storage is FREE. A week off your bill, every time.

What removals and storage in London costs
Two numbers carry the job. The removal is a one-off price quoted after a free video survey. Storage is £30 per week (inc VAT) per sealed 250 cubic foot container, insurance included. Collection and delivery are priced as part of the removal, so you see one combined figure instead of a second storage bill.
Every removal price includes VAT, the crew, the lorry, loading, unloading, basic furniture dismantling, and Goods in Transit insurance up to £25,000, upgradable on request. Prices shift with access, parking distance, and the calendar. Quotes are fixed for 28 days.
Storage on top
Each 250 cubic foot container holds roughly 30 to 40 boxes, about a large room’s worth, matching a 50 square foot self-storage room. The weekly rate covers the sealed container and your stored goods insurance. Larger homes get their container count confirmed at the survey.
The minimum term is one week. Billing runs in 4-week blocks, but that is paperwork, not a commitment. Store for one, two, or three weeks and pay only for the weeks used, with the first week free on any removal. Move out early and we refund every full week remaining.
Your containers sit at our facility in Rainham (RM13), outside the premium retail postcodes, which is one reason the rate stays at £30. Access is by arrangement with 7 days notice. An inspection visit costs £30 (inc VAT). Assisted access, where a crew member retrieves and repacks your container, is £24 per hour (inc VAT) with a 2-hour minimum. For everything else, sealed containers cost less and we do the lifting.
Insurance runs as two policies. The move is covered by Goods in Transit insurance up to £25,000, included free. In storage, insurance is included in the weekly rate. Two covers, no gap, one company answerable for both.

How one booking covers both
Video survey
A free 20-minute video call. We look at your rooms, hear what is going into storage, and plan the container count in one conversation.
One combined quote
A single fixed price covering the removal, the containers, and the weekly rate. Valid 28 days, no obligation, no separate storage paperwork.
One load, sealed once
On moving day the crew loads your things once and drives straight to Rainham. Containers are sealed in front of the inventory and insured from that moment.
Redelivery when ready
Storage runs weekly from week two. Redelivery is quoted as a removal job for a date that suits you.
One company or two suppliers
The usual route is one company for the move, a self-storage room for the gap, and a van hire to bridge the two. It works, it just adds moving parts.
One honest note. Sealed containers are not for everyone. If you will want your ski gear every other weekend, a room you can visit is the better fit, and we can arrange self-storage through a partner. If your things can sit sealed until the new place is ready, containers cost less and you never lift a box.
